I'm Ciprian Turutea. I run Ridgeway Productions from Val di Fiemme, in the Italian Dolomites, working as production fixer, camera operator and drone pilot for international crews.
Most of the productions I work with arrive with a location that looks straightforward in a treatment and turns out to be complicated on the ground — a ridge with no road, a hut above the snowline, a permit that takes a few phone calls to trace to the right office. Having grown up and worked here, I usually know which roads a 4x4 can take, which huts need a permit and which need a good pair of boots, and which ski resorts can move snow on short notice.
It's the kind of detail that's hard to research from abroad, and it tends to be what decides whether a shoot day runs to plan.
Recent work includes a Max Original series on Lake Como for Boardwalk Pictures, a Brooks Running film with Stept Studios in the Pale di San Martino, an official Milano Cortina 2026 campaign for Haibun, NCT Lab for SM Entertainment in Florence, and a Cisalfa Sport campaign shot in Fuerteventura.

- —Fluent English, native Italian. Nothing gets lost between the production office and the local landowner, the police station or the hut keeper.
- —EASA STS-01 certified drone pilot — cleared to fly VLOS over populated, controlled ground areas as well as open countryside.
- —I move through the Dolomites on foot, by mountain bike and by paraglider. It means practical access to locations that are hard to reach, and an honest answer about what's realistic with a full crew and heavy cinema gear before it goes into a treatment.
