Paul American — Italian unit, episode four

Local production for the Italian leg of the Max Original series. Equipment sourced and collected from rental houses in Milan — two Sony FX9, a Sony FX3, EasyRig and Fujinon zooms — plus permits, three vans, and accommodation and meals for the full unit across four shooting days and travel days.

Ten crew on the ground — two DPs, 1st AC, 2nd AC, sound, three PA-drivers and myself — working alongside the production's own team flown in from the US.

Brooks Running — “The Sounds of Trail Running”

Scouting, production support and vendor management across three visually distinct locations: the lunar plateau of the Pale di San Martino (reached by cable car), Baita Segantini (reached by a permitted off-road route inside the natural park), and the ridge above Rifugio Passo Selle at San Pellegrino, reached by a dedicated 4x4 pickup — each matched to the right access for a full crew and heavy cinema gear.

The standout: getting everything up to Rifugio Passo Selle unlocked a one-of-a-kind ridge, a scree slope for the action running shots and a steep trail, all within walking distance of the hut. One move, three setups.

TiePic Media (Leipzig) — for FREILUFT Manufaktur

FREILUFT Manufaktur — five films for one brand

Camera and aerial work on a five-film brand system for a German maker of outdoor kitchens: a signature film, a workshop film shot with the founders, and three atmosphere films on location in Lofoten, Mallorca and Münsterland. Tiemo Weidemann of TiePic Media directed, and carried the concept, the music and the edit. On set we made the films together — tripod, slider, gimbal, the framing and which scenes were worth shooting. The aerial work was mine.

“The First Welcome” — Milano Cortina 2026

Location management for an official Milano Cortina 2026 campaign. The chosen location — a busy tourist restaurant — had never hosted a film crew before; securing access meant a first-time negotiation built from scratch.

Irresistible Studios (London) — for Honda

Honda — “Schneefräsen”

Local organisation and vendor relationships for a snow-themed shoot in early spring, when snow was scarce. The solution: a location with vacation homes whose gardens still held untouched snow — and where that wasn't enough, groomed snow trucked in from the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort to cover the garden.

“All 4 One con Cisalfa Sport” — Cuore, Fiato, Gambe, Testa

A four-episode campaign shot in Fuerteventura for Cisalfa Sport, produced by Athleta Lab. Working alongside director Filippo Maragno on shot ideas across all four episodes. The project led into the Rome Marathon, where the same four athletes raced together under the “All 4 One” banner.

A three-person shoot with director David Gelb at the Ein Prosit food festival. Local fixing, camera assistance and lighting support — the kind of job where the DP and I covered every department between us and the director stepped in once the setup was ready.
